    The North Central Texas Council of Governments is looking for a skilled web developer. This position will have responsibility for creating and maintaining Agency websites and associated customer web applications. The ideal candidate is a talented artist with extensive technical expertise who can work alongside a team and independently in the creation, maintenance, and updates of websites for clients in a variety of industries. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design.
    • Create websites and user interfaces, using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services.
    • Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs.
    • Develop or validate testing schedules, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various computers can access content.
    • Maintain updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology.

    Required Skills

    Candidates should have a working knowledge of Kentico CMS, C#, .NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, JSON, administration of Microsoft IIS, and administration of Microsoft Azure resources.

    Required Experience

    Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through two years of college resulting in a Associate’s degree and over 2 years related work experience.
