Performs application system requirements analysis, preparation of functional specifications and technical specifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Medical Technology, Information Science or related field of study; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years experience using and supporting the relevant information system.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Communication Skills:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Accounting software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; Development software; Design software; Internet software; Human Resource systems; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Manufacturing software and Database software.
