With locations in Houston, TX, and Beaumont, TX, NSS provides extremely fast delivery across a full range of structural steel, sheet, and plate products. NSS also utilizes its state-of-the-art processing equipment and highly experienced team to save time on projects, improve material utilization, and increase customer capacity. Value-added processing services include CNC plasma, oxy-fuel, waterjet, laser burning, heavy plate rolling and press forming, machining, saw cutting, robotic CNC coping, ASME welding, and more.

    What You’ll Do:

    · Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

    · Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

    · Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.

    · Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

    · Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

    · Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with supervisors.

    · Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

    · Assists with new hire orientation.

    · Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

    · Provides clerical support to the HR department as appropriate.

    · Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

    · Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.

    · Performs other duties as assigned.

    What You’ll Need:

    · Bi-lingual in Spanish and English

    · Able to demonstrate behavioral interview techniques

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    · Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

    · Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

    · Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    · Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

    · Proficient with the ability to quickly learn application-tracking software, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.

    Physical Requirements:

    · Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

    · Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Education & Experience:

    · Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

    · At least two years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
