    We are a fast-growing, entrepreneurial Law Firm looking for an experienced Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join our team. The associate attorney will meet with prospective new clients, draft legal documents, conduct legal research, maintain client files, supervise paralegals, and attend court hearings with clients. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills. Some courtroom experience is a plus. We will provide firm-specific training on how to successfully meet our standards, but you must have experience in Estate Planning. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. Our expectations include that you have the ability to quickly learn new tasks, think ahead, work independently, be detail and deadline-oriented, and work well with others. Candidates should be tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use new technologies and client management tools. We value clients. Candidates must be able to relate to people in a variety of situations, be highly trustworthy and discreet, and use good judgment. This is a full-time job. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability. Responsibilities: • Assist clients in developing individually designed estate plans, draft estate planning documents, and research legal and tax issues associated with a wide range of cutting-edge planning strategies • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals and staff • Draft documents such as correspondence, petitions, motions, affidavits, and various legal documents necessary for court representation • Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside other attorneys and paralegals • Participates in firms marketing activities including community events and creating and nurturing relationships with other professionals such as financial advisors and CPAs Qualifications: • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base • Member in good standing and actively involved with the Indiana Bar Association Compensation: $80,000 potential - depending on experience
