About the Role: At CCCPS, security is more than just standing post—it’s about being trusted to make judgment calls, manage tough situations, and represent our team with professionalism.
We’re currently hiring for both armed and unarmed positions, and the majority of our work is based in the Portland-Metro area. Whether you’re an experienced officer or just starting out, we offer opportunities for those who want more than a static post. Officers who stand out may be selected for specialized details including executive protection, media security, workplace violence response, secured transports, and more.
If you’re reliable, adaptable, and looking for real-world experience with long-term potential—we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Patrol assigned locations—on foot or by vehicle—to maintain high visibility and deter unwanted activity
Enforce site-specific access control procedures
Exclude or remove trespassers when appropriate
Respond to reports of suspicious activity or emergencies
Act as a calm, professional presence in both routine and high-stress situations
Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or EMS when needed
Document daily activities and write clear, accurate incident reports
What We’re Looking For:
Prior security, military, or public safety experience preferred
Valid Oregon DPSST license (armed or unarmed)
High school diploma or GED required
Solid report writing and communication skills
Strong customer service mindset—especially in high-visibility or client-facing roles
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Physically able to stand or walk for extended periods without accommodations
Driving Requirements (Patrol Assignments Only): A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for any patrol assignment involving a company vehicle. While most patrol shifts use CCCPS vehicles, officers may occasionally be asked to use a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable.
Appearance Standards: Professional appearance matters. Officers are expected to wear company-issued uniforms or plainclothes attire (as assigned) and follow basic grooming standards.
Neatly trimmed facial hair is permitted
Hair of any length and conservative color is acceptable (must be tied back if long)
Conservative earrings are fine; facial piercings must be removed or replaced with flesh-colored retainers while on duty
