    Job Title: Commercial Construction Foreman – Interior Finishes

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee commercial construction projects, primarily in the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior finishes for both new construction and remodeling projects. You will lead a crew and ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. The scope of work includes metal framing, drywall, drop ceilings, flooring, painting, and related finishes. Hands-on leadership is essential—this role requires the ability to work side by side with the crew when necessary. The ability to read blueprints and manage construction budgets is essential. Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and lead a crew of workers in daily construction activities, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to project schedules.

    • Work directly with crew members on-site, providing hands-on assistance and guidance where needed.

    • Interpret and execute construction plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

    • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and workflow.

    • Oversee the installation of interior finishes such as metal framing, drywall, drop ceilings, flooring, and painting.

    • Monitor job site safety, enforce company policies, and ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines.

    • Track project expenses and labor costs, ensuring that projects remain within budget.

    • Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure work meets the required quality standards and address any issues as they arise.

    • Maintain and organize project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and material orders.

    • Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.

    • Train and mentor crew members to enhance productivity and workmanship.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role, specifically in interior finishes for commercial construction.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.

    • Strong knowledge of interior finish work, including metal framing, drywall, drop ceilings, flooring, and painting.

    • Solid understanding of construction safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.

    • Ability to perform physical labor alongside crew members as needed.

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in construction management is a plus.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in the food and beverage construction sector is highly preferred.

    • Familiarity with remodeling projects as well as new construction.
