Location: Careers of America – Port of Brownsville, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays & overtime as needed)

Job Summary:We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Office Assistant to support the Office Administrator with daily tasks. This position requires someone who is organized, willing to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities, including administrative work, student support, and office maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:General Office Support:
- Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
- Help manage schedules, appointments, and student enrollment.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering materials.
- Perform general clerical duties, including copying, scanning, and organizing paperwork.
Student & Customer Support:
- Greet visitors, students, and staff.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Assist students with enrollment paperwork and provide program information.
Office Organization & Operations:
- Help prepare classrooms and ensure training materials are ready.
- Maintain a clean and organized office space.
- Assist in preparing certificates, forms, and reports.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Run errands related to office and school operations.
- Assist with special projects or additional tasks as needed.
- Support the team during busy periods, including occasional Saturdays and overtime.
Qualifications:- No prior experience required; willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is helpful.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
