Job Description

Numerade is seeking savvy STEM experts/instructors to create short videos walking students through math, physics, chemistry, biology and economics problems. This opportunity is flexible, remote, and you earn as much as you’re willing to spend time creating! IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL GET TO:

• Help students learn and succeed in their STEM studies
• Create short videos showing students how to solve STEM problems
• Utilize creative teaching, technology, and problem solving strategies
• Enjoy a flexible work day and work week
• Build relationships with other Numerade educators

YOU’LL BRING:

• Passionate about helping students learn
• Self motivated to complete weekly assignments
• At least 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
• Ability to solve high school or college level problems in one or more of the following subject areas: Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Psychology
• Approximately 40 hours of work time within a 7-day week
• The ability to instruct students in a dynamic and supportive manner while keeping the videos engaging
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent handwriting on screen
• A critical eye for content accuracy and overall pedagogy
• Working computer and/or tablet
• Writing stylus required
