    The Nursa marketplace connects healthcare clinicians and healthcare facilities to fill per diem and on-call shifts, increasing access and transparency to the $17 billion temporary nurse staffing industry. Facilities post their last minute and per diem shifts on the platform; clinician users request to work these shifts based on their availability and the facility will review and hire the clinician based on the credentials and experience in their profile. This is a fast and streamlined process, all done within our Nursa App.

    By showing clinicians local RN, LPN, and CNA jobs in realtime we help clinicians eliminate the headache associated with finding high paying work, while giving them the flexibility to work based on their schedule.

    As the front lines of communication for our clinician and facility users, Nursa Support strives to educate and assist our user base with a variety of questions or concerns as we change the approach of the healthcare staffing problem. By using different software platforms including Zendesk, Tymeshift, Tableau, Zoom, Slack, Google Docs and the Nursa App, we provide assistance with the end result being the highest quality customer care.

    ABOUT THIS ROLE

    As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be on the front lines working with Nursa platform users through inbound customer support channels. As the primary contact for our users, you will support facilities and clinicians by answering basic technical and process questions about the Nursa app. The ideal candidate adapts well to a fast-paced environment, provides a high degree of service and responsiveness to our existing and potential users while demonstrating flexibility and a calm demeanor through these engagements. We ask that you leave each user better than you found them, and ooze the Nursa passion for first class patient care.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Support all forms of inbound communication with users: 

    • Chat

    • Phone

    • Email

    Maintain all call-back and any backlog ticketing issues that may arise due to shortages in staffing

    Outbound communication as needed to users

    Mediate relationships with Facilities and Clinicians as needed

    Welcome new users

    User verification, documentation and investigation as needed

    Verify clinicians on the site 

    REQUIREMENTS

    • General soft skills

    • Customer obsessed: enthusiasm for helping people solve problems

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Tech-savvy: ability to quickly learn new systems, and teach others to as well

    • Self-motivated and strong team player

    • Adaptability

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a commitment to world-class customer experience

    • Customer support experience preferred but not required
