    Job Description

    Job Summary: The Urology Nurse Navigator will serve as a patient advocate, educator, and coordinator, helping patients navigate the complexities of urological care. This fully remote position requires excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Patient Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
    • Care Coordination: Coordinate appointments, tests, and treatments, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with urologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in urology or a related field.
    • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Attributes: Empathetic, patient-focused, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
    • Certifications: Certification in Urology Nursing (CURN) or Oncology Nursing (OCN) is preferred but not required.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Required :**

    • Associate's degree in nursing
    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
    • Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois
    • Certification in Basic CPR
    • Two years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment

    ** Preferred :**

    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (may be required for certain positions)
