    Overview:

    The Nurse Health Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the nursing services of our home health agency. This position requires a blend of strong clinical skills, administrative expertise, and leadership qualities to ensure that our patients receive high-quality care in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Clinical Oversight:
    • Supervise the delivery of nursing services to clients in their homes, ensuring that care plans are followed and adjusted as necessary.

    • Conduct regular assessments of patient care needs and outcomes to improve service delivery.

    1. Staff Management:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff and ensure they adhere to best practices and agency policies.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

    1. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations regarding home health care.

    • Ensure that the agency maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies and standards of care.

    1. Operational Management:
    • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial efficiency within the nursing department.

    • Develop and implement policies and protocols to improve operational processes and patient care.

    1. Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison among patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and improve care coordination.

    • Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centered care.

    1. Quality Improvement:
    • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and patient safety programs to enhance service quality.

    • Analyze patient feedback and care outcomes to drive improvements in nursing services.

    Qualifications:

    • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

    • Proven experience in healthcare administration, particularly in home health settings.

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to travel to various locations for home visits.

    • Physical stamina to perform nursing duties and patient assessments.
