Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health
The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse Manager for their acute Behavioral Health facility located in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

Job Responsibilities:
- Available Shifts: Full time days, no weekend requirement
- Treating patients of all ages (children to seniors)
- Baker Acts and Inpatient psychiatric setting
- Total full-time employees: 43
- Current total beds on unit: 43 (Adding 8 more)
- Reports to the ACNO
- Provide leadership and oversight to the behavioral health nursing team, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across inpatient psychiatric units.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and workflows in alignment with hospital standards and behavioral health regulations.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance while fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, manage admissions/discharges, and promote continuity of care for individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
- Monitor and manage unit budgets, staffing levels, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- 5 years of behavioral health experience REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care behavioral health leadership experience
- Experience with Baker Acts REQUIRED
- Inpatient acute care psychiatric crisis experience REQUIRED
- Comfortable with Patient Center Trauma Informed Care
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
- Associate nursing degree accepted
- BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required within 30 days from start
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
