HCT seeks an experienced nurse professional to serve as the Nurse Manager, Labor & Delivery, at a 200+ bed hospital in Northern California. The Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning, directing and managing the patient care delivered to a designated population
• Maintaining accountability for leadership, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling in collaboration with department director
• Developing programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met
• Following up with projects in progress
• Promoting a positive team culture with open communication

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of L&D clinical experience combined with at least 3+ years of recent experience in L&D leadership; Must have a proven track record of success in improving patient experience, labor and delivery quality metrics, as well as a high degree of clinical proficiency, and effective leadership skills
• License: Active California RN License required
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Advance Fetal Monitoring certification, required
• Computer Skills: EPIC and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
