Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a School Nurse to provide nursing services for a local school district.

- School-Based Academy: We provide the support and community that a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and to be successful.
- Lending Library: PTS recognizes the additional expenses in providing evaluation for materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapist to borrow as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide school health nurse services and primary care services to students
- Evaluate and treat individual physical conditions of students and refer to appropriate resources as needed
- Conduct health assessments (history, screenings, findings)
- Provide instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention
- Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases
- Interpret health status of students to parents and school personnel
- Maintain student health data/files
- Monitor compliance of school health program with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies
- Assist with mandated reports to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)

Qualifications:
- RN or LPN State License
- Valid PA certificate as a School Nurse
- Child Abuse, State, and Federal Clearances
