    Our growing cardiology practice is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care and supporting our physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests

    Diagnose and treat a variety of cardiovascular conditions under the supervision of a cardiologist

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team

    Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence

    Monitor and manage patients with chronic cardiovascular diseases

    Coordinate care transitions and collaborate with other healthcare providers

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice updates

    Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

    Current, valid APRN license in the state of California

    National certification as a Nurse Practitioner, with a specialty in Cardiology preferred

    Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiology or acute care setting

    Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team

    Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

    Proficient in electronic medical record systems
