    We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse practitioner provide direct clinical and quality management of client care. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner must be licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing, certified by a national accrediting organization, and with the population served.

    Location: Durham , NC

    We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide the following services:

    • Provide direct clinical and quality management of client care.
    • Be in compliance with DMA Clinical Coverage Policy 1H regarding telemedicine.
    • Develop and implement internal policies and procedures for client admission, reevaluation, transfer, and discharge, and for the delivery of high-quality, medically necessary services and treatments that are clinically appropriate, current, not experimental in nature, and are in compliance with North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards of Practice.
    • Identify and implement models of care for the age- and diagnosis-specific populations served that are person- and family-entered, evidence-based, and provide a continuum of care for clients.
    • Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical assessments, including age- and diagnosis-specific level-of-care determinations.
    • Participate in staffing, consultation, and clinical case review of complex or high-risk clients and coordinate clinical team meetings with the Medical Director, Clinical
    • Director, and other CABHA staff.
    • Review laboratory medical tests, dosing regimes and effectiveness, adverse drug reactions and side effects, patient, family, and staff medication education.
    • Demonstrate appropriate utilization of the NC Controlled Substance Reporting System (CSRS), as established by the North Carolina Controlled Substances Reporting Act, Article 5E of Chapter 90 of the North Carolina General Statutes.
