We are currently seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team, contributing to medical care within a skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will specialize in physical and rehabilitation medicine, focusing on pain management and related areas. Training is provided by our fantastic Regional Leads and Medical Director. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the overall well-being of residents within the skilled nursing facility. This includes utilizing advanced pain management techniques, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and staying abreast of the latest developments in physiatry to ensure the highest quality of care.
Compensation: Full Time: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year + up to $5,000 in monthly incentives

Responsibilities:
Perform routine check-ups on patients to assess their health condition and identify potential issues for Physiatry.
Improve QOL for patients by working with rehab teams (PT, OT, and SLP) for better outcomes.
Track, monitor, and directly impact skilled therapy patient’s progress in therapy by mitigating roadblocks such as pain or other musculoskeletal diagnoses.
Conduct examinations in response to acute changes in patient condition.
Effectively communicate with resident families or appointed representatives regarding resident status.
Manage and prescribe pharmaceuticals.
Collaborate with providers, DON/ADON, nursing staff, support staff, and administration to enhance patient care.
Connect internal medicine and rehabilitation services to improve patient care.
Attend virtual office hours with our CMO of Physiatry or additional educational lectures on enhancing care.
Requirements:
Hold a medical degree from an accredited program.
Be board certified in the relevant field of practice.
Maintain an active New York license to practice in the field.
Exhibit a self-driven and proactive approach to tasks.
Possess a strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
Have broad knowledge of common medications, including side effects and contraindications.
Display an in-depth understanding of legal medical guidelines and best practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Uphold a commitment to patient confidentiality.
Be compassionate and approachable in patient interactions.
