Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate and effective care, and we are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join us in this mission.
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide care to patients with musculoskeletal issues, including back, knee, and sciatica pain. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including the administration of joint injections, other non-surgical pain management techniques, and rehabilitation programs.
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all patient interactions and care provided.
Provide follow-up care and support to ensure patient adherence to treatment plans and to address any ongoing or new concerns.
Participate in patient case reviews and contribute to ongoing clinical education and improvement initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in pain management and rehabilitation practices.
Uphold the highest standards of patient care, privacy, and safety in all clinical interactions.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Missouri.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform injections and other non-surgical treatments (training provided if necessary).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
