  • Responsibilities

    Columbia Surgery Center has an immediate need for a full time Nursing Assistant!

    Job Summary: Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Communicates with patients regarding pre-op instructions and assists RNs as needed. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

    Required Skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1+ years of Nursing Assistant experience.
    • CNA a plus, but not required.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Prefer prior experience in surgery centers or fast-paced medical environment.
