Leadership, financial management and oversight of a multi-dis, Medicare certified skilled nursing facility that serves the long-term and rehabilitative needs of Arizona's Veterans/Members.
Ensures that the Arizona State Veteran's Home's resources are used effectively and efficiently to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychological well-being of each Veteran/Member.
Participants in the development and implantation of goals, objectives, programs, projects, policies and procedures related to the operation of the facility.
Enforces department and facility policies and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
This position is the "face" of the Arizona State Veterans Home and works to build collaborative and cooperative relationships with federal and state agencies. Veterans Service Organizations and other community service groups.
Learns implements and monitors Arizona Management System (AMS) methods. Utilizes AMS concepts and tools for problem-solving and continuous work/process improvements and efficiencies.

Education Requirements:
Must have a current license to practice as a Nursing Home Administrator in Arizona
Driving in the course of State business is required. Must have a valid driver's license.
-Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
