We are partnering with a leader in the measurement and testing industry. The Nylon Technician performs Nylon operations following procedures and work instructions and provides parts and assemblies to internal and external customers that meet quality and schedule requirements.

Performs material surface preparation through multiple methods including, but not limited to sandblasting, abrading, degreasing, washing, chemically treating, and masking. Performs Nylon application to heated parts in conjunction with Nylon procedures. Heats parts to the correct temperature for melting the nylon coatings using an oven or induction heater.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or G.E.D equivalency.
• Four years of machine shop experience or painting or powder coating experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30-40 pounds.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills, including with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to work overtime and to meet the demands of other workstations.
