OA/CTS Director
As the OA/CTS Director at STGi, and an esteemed member of the Pathway Achievement Career Team (PACT), you play a pivotal role in steering the direction of our outreach, admissions, and career transition services. Your expertise ensures that we deliver exceptional services while maintaining impeccable quality standards. Your leadership will be integral in developing strategic plans, enhancing departmental processes, and fostering an environment of continuous growth and improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee and optimize the Career Transition Program, from planning to marketing.
- Design and implement efficient placement office procedures and establish fruitful employer relationships.
- Collaborate, analyze, and employ occupational, educational, and economic data to improve job placement activities.
- Spearhead community engagement, conducting surveys to gather labor market information.
- Provide rigorous quality control for application processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Lead the OA/CTS team, cultivating teamwork and collaboration across the Outreach and Admissions, and Career Transition Services units.
- Ensure consistent communication among career development services, student records, and other departments to synchronize input and placement needs.
- Foster strategic employer relationships, expanding job opportunities for students.
- Maintain adherence to all compliance guidelines and manage periodic reviews and audits.
- Continuously engage in professional development, promoting best practices across the department.
- Execute leadership responsibilities, including staff evaluation, training, budgeting, and implementing departmental changes.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Employees must regularly sit, stand, walk, reach, talk, and listen.
- Occasional requirements include sitting, hand movements (fingering, handling), tasting, and smelling.
- The role involves lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
- Vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- The role occasionally requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- While the general noise level is moderate, it can occasionally become loud.

Required Skills
- Minimum of two years of related experience, with a preference for those with supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of managing diverse teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational aptitudes.
- Acumen for strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and data management.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field and two years of related supervisory experience. OR
- Associate’s degree in the aforementioned fields combined with four years of supervisory experience in related areas.
- A valid State Driver’s License is essential.
