    Job Description

    Do you want to grow your career while working in a professional, fast-paced, and friendly environment? OCF Realty’s, in-house title company, is looking to add a SETTLEMENT AGENT AND TITLE PROCESSOR to our growing team. We need someone who is energized by a fast-paced and vibrant environment, is organized and analytical, and has a superior understanding of title processes in real estate. Lastly, we’re looking for someone who is as passionate about Philadelphia’s neighborhoods and community as we are, and shares our culture of authenticity. Please note this is a full-time position that requires in-person work. We are currently taking precautions for COVID-19.

    • Are DRIVEN BY DEADLINES. You take responsibility for your own deadlines and understand how your role supports the team’s monthly and quarterly goals.
    • Are an EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR. You understand the art of following up and can anticipate how to make contact, what to say and how to keep track of it all.
    • Are DETAIL-ORIENTED AND ANALYTICAL. You pay close attention and notice the minor details, you like hard data and real numbers.
    • Are a TEAM PLAYER. You find motivation in working as a team and achieving your common goals and are willing to have an “all hands on deck” attitude when your team needs help.

    COMPENSATION: $72,000

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Order title and utility tax certifications
    • Manage the progress of open transactions
    • Clear title and prepare settlement documents
    • Communicate with transaction parties in a timely fashion
    • Review files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clear to close
    • Prepare and review deed packages
    • Prepare financial cost statements for settlement
    • Support Conveyancers, Closing Coordinators, Loan officers, Transaction Coordinators, and Realtors
    • Collaborate with closers and notaries for settlements
    • Handle Post-closing process; serve as back-up support for Settlement Manager

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 5+ year of real estate processing experience in PA and NJ
    • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
    • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
    • Licensed Notary (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
    • Desire to be part of a collaborative team in a high production environment
    • Beneficial if you have experience working in Qualia and transactions in the City of Philadelphia
