Role Overview:
As a Field Sales Representative at OPEN, you'll be the driving force behind our expansion in the on-premise and independent liquor store sectors. This role is perfect for a dynamic, results-driven professional eager to bring their passion for sales and deep understanding of the beverage industry to a brand that prides itself on authenticity, and inclusivity. You'll work closely with our Head of Sales to execute the sales strategy, expand our presence, and ensure our lager is the go-to choice for our target demographic.
Key Responsibilities:
· Market Presence: Spend at least 70% of your time in the field, building and nurturing relationships with on-premise bars and independent liquor stores.
· Sales and Distribution: Secure new placements and manage the ongoing requirements of existing accounts, with a focus on expanding OPEN's market share.
· Brand Ambassador: Represent OPEN's values and ethos in every interaction, serving as a brand ambassador and educating partners and consumers about our products.
· Feedback Loop: Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy adjustments.
· Achievement of Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets as set by the Head of Sales, contributing to the overall success of the brand.
· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales team to refine sales tactics and strategies based on field insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
· 3 years proven experience in field sales, preferably in the beverage industry, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
· Passionate about, community, and inclusivity, with alignment to OPEN's brand values.
· Must be self-motivated, with a high level of energy and the ability to work independently.
· Familiarity with the on-premise and independent liquor store landscape in LA is a plus.
· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Business degree or equivalent experience.
· Beverage Alcohol Industry Experience (knowledge of legal framework, promotional regulations, and three-tier system).
· Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation and Benefits
· Base Salary Range: $60k annually.
· Participation in the Annual Sales Bonus Plan.
· 15 Days PTO.
