    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-focused team that is known for delivering advanced intelligence analytics and GEOINT products. By joining our team, you will work on impactful and compelling projects that advance scientific understanding of GEOINT related phenomenology and that rely on GEOINT to inform decisions in areas like defense, national security, and disaster response! We are looking for an Expert level OPIR Advisor to join our team in Denver, CO. The right candidate will be someone who can support multiple OPIR related programs by serving as a liaison between multiple stakeholders, including international partners. You will be adept at briefing senior level executives on a variety of OPIR issues and must be able to review and comment on technical reports, experimental designs, and tradecraft methodology. You will be part of a highly skilled team that is researching, developing, and recommending improvements or new solutions for NextGen OPIR solutions and tools in support of National Defense.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Act as a Liaison and Foreign Mission Partner Lead between multiple agencies or organizations, domestic and international, and engage in ongoing collaboration with these entities
    • Provide operational and programmatic support for foreign visitors
    • Prepare technical overview briefings for executives and foreign visitors
    • Provide OPIR subject matter expertise across NGA
    • Lead the coordination and consolidation of enterprise analysis and production test plans
    • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior scientists and engineers on OPIR-related projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Provide oversight to ensure data quality and integrity
    • Build and present OPIR related presentations as requested
    • Development of OPIR related procedures and documentation
    • Provide product peer reviews or quality control on OPIR related data as needed
    • Support International Affairs on matters of Foreign Disclosure &Release Office on matters concerning GEOINT
    • Support activities for the placement and development of foreign partners at NGA

     

    Required Qualifications:

     

    • Must haves strong understanding of OPIR analysis and/or production
    • Background in remote sensing and/or earth science
    • Experience collaborating with all/ multiple national and service intelligence agencies/centers (preferably with NGA, NASIC, US Space Command)
    • Background in intelligence, defense, international relations, or public administration multi­ disciplines.
    • TS/SCI clearance (with CI Poly)
    • For Expert Level: BS Degree in related field with 15 years of professional experience
      • Substitutions are allowed for different levels of education (i.e. high school diploma, AA, Masters, or PhD degree, certifications, etc.)
      • Substitutions are allowed for different types of experience (i.e. volunteer work / apprenticeship / intern positions / military experience, etc.).
      • We also take into consideration other relevant accomplishments (i.e. published work, scientific studies)
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the GEOINT Community

     

    Desired:

     

    • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as R or Python.
    • Demonstrated understanding of cartographic principles.
