Come work with us in a very busy, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center that prides itself on its efficiency and excellence in patient care! We are searching for an operating room coordinator to lead a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or calls!
Position hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 8-hour shifts, 32-40 hours per week. Must have at least 3 years of OR experience (including orthopedics) and prior leadership experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION The Surgical Services Coordinator manages the daily operations and schedule implementation of the Operating Room so that the fiscal, equipment, and personnel resources of the Operating Room are utilized in an effective, efficient, and safe manner and to affect the quality outcomes for the related surgical patient population. Assures quality patient care, including but not limited to meeting patient needs, ensuring the implementation of the interdisciplinary surgical plan, facilitating the continuity of patient care, and utilizing staff within their job responsibilities and competencies. Assures operations are aligned with and implement the Surgery Center safety, infection control, risk management, and quality improvement plan. Precepts, mentors, orients, evaluates, counsels, and coaches employees. Makes scheduling and operational decisions to ensure physician, staff, patient, and departmental satisfaction and efficiency. Maintain accreditation, infection control, laser safety, patient safety, sterilization, dress, and AORN standards in planning, implementing, and evaluating the work processes and staff assignments. Works cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, management, administration, physicians, and community to achieve mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives.
