    Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team.

    Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center provides:

    • Ophthalmology
    • Cosmetic
    • General Surgery
    • Reconstructive
    • Orthopedics
    • Podiatry
    • Gynecology
    • Urology
    • Otolaryngology/ENT
    • Pain Management services.

    Required Skills

    EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Current Florida Nursing License
    • Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
    • CNOR preferred
    • Strong operating room nurse experience required
    • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation.
    • Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures
    • Perform excellent management of the operative patient
    • Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation
    • Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics
    • Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing
    • Willingness to perform necessary downtime work
    • Willingness to learn new tasks
