Operating Room RN at Ambulatory Surgery Center of Stockton

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.

Pay Range: $51 to $54. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

Required Experience

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. * Baccalaureate degree preferred. * Five (5) years experience in surgery as circulator * Two (2) years experience in surgery management which includes pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care. * Current Texas RN License- BLS * CNOR preferred- Independent decision making skills. * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. * Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
