Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include directing ancillary personnel to ensure the effective implementation of the patient's care plan. You will have mastered essential skills specific to the operating room and may assume charge responsibilities when assigned. Your practice will adhere to the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Requirements:

• Education: Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License.
• Experience: Previous experience in the operating room is preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current South Carolina/Compact RN license.
  • BLS certification required before the first clinical shift (issued by the American Heart Association).
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
