Position Summary:
The PR Surgical Physician Assistant works in the operating room with the supervising physician and team to ensure patient safety, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgical teams across various specialties. Responsibilities include surgery preparation, setup and providing real-time assistance during procedures. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to make critical decisions and a strong commitment to patient care in high-pressure situations. Assists with robotic surgeries, gynecology (GYN), general surgical cases, minimally invasive procedures, and ENT (ear, nose and throat) surgeries, as well as other service lines that require Physician Assistance (PA).
