Position: OR Tech / Surgical Tech
Shift Schedule: :Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Pay: 30$ to 35$.Strike pay.
*Prefers local candidates
5x8 Days but one to two per week will be PM (1500) shift. One night shift call per week. wwill take call every 2nd or 3rd Saturday or Sunday (24 hours).

Required experience in all Ortho procedures.

Weekend REQ:?? On Call weekend, Sat or Sun - 3 per schedule (24 hr call shift). 30 minute response time for on-call required.

Responsibilities
Secure and prepare all supplies required for surgical intervention
Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in OR
Perform instrument counts prior to each procedure
Prepare patient skin for surgical treatment
Position and re-position patient during surgery
Help monitor patients during surgery
Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase
Perform scrub functions
Collect and label specimens taken during surgical procedure
Follow all federal, state and departmental safety procedures
Surgical Technician qualifications and skills
Diploma required
Surgical technician certification from an accredited college or training program required
3+ years’ experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room
First Aid and CPR certification
Familiarity with all surgical instruments and equipment
Ability to lift 23 kg
Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique
