Operations Specialist
The Operations Specialist candidate will be required to perform the duties and possess the qualifications listed below:
Main Responsibilities:
Manage the overall sourcing, interview (in person and virtual), selection, and closing process.
Manage the onboarding and new hire process.
Conduct on the job training and refresher training for new hires and current employees as needed.
Recommend operational, training, and recruiting improvements that need to be made.
Pass Security Guard Certified Trainer Test within 90 days of employment
Maintaining familiarity on day-to-day operations and assist the Operations Manager on an at needed basis by:
Being responsible for daily operational conduct of all Security Operations and Security Officers assigned to their work sites.
Identifying any personnel needs and inform OSG Management.
Providing corrective measures and disciplinary actions as needed and appropriate to the situation.
Conducting performance evaluations for Site Supervisors.
Recording and tracking all vehicle maintenance.
Filing DSOR’s with supporting documentation.
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass all State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
Possess a valid State Driver’s License and have a clean driving record.
Skills Required:
Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Active listening skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to effectively utilize all available management tools:
Computer – Outlook and calendar
Specific Experience Required:
Must possess one or more of the following:
Associates degree or higher in any disciple.
Successful military service.
Law enforcement experience or service in auxiliary police or police cadets.
Minimum of three (3) years verifiable and successful security experience.

Must be at least 21 years old or meet State eligibility requirements.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Must not use illegal drugs. Able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must be able to provide verifiable work history.
If declaring veteran status, must be able to provide, upon job offer, DD 214 discharge document.
