Job Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team! As Occupational Therapy Practitioner, you will be meeting with several children and their families in a day, discussing their treatment needs, ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans to support their developmental needs. Positions are available in the Riverside County and High Desert area, providing in-home OT services. The ideal candidate must have a compassionate style of care, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling young children 0-3 years of age. Candidate must also have a minimum of one year pediatric experience. Full and Part Time positions are available.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
As an OTR, one must be able to conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each child
Create and implement a therapy plan specific to each child that will help them meet their developmental goals
Work closely with other members of a child's care team to provide adequate follow-up care
Maintain excellent records of client therapy and progress
Qualifications
Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Good attention to detail
The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with the children and their families
