Cunico Health and Wellness is looking for a Full Time/ Part Time Occupational Therapist to join our medically integrated healthcare team in beautiful Sussex County, NJ. As a medically integrated praxis, we provide Occupational Therapy services as an option to our patients who need a more specific, defined, and narrower focus of care. We are committed to helping our patients prevent further injury and rehabilitating their injury/condition. Salary commensurate depends on experience. Responsibilities: • Completes assessment and evaluation of patient's impairments and deficits. • Working hand in hand with our current therapist. • Creates a treatment plan and goals to address the impairments and deficits with consideration of evaluation and assessment, medical status, and prior level of function. The treatment plan and goals are monitored and adjusted based on the patient's needs and progress. • Advises patient on proper form and makes sure the patient will not injure themselves during exercise. • Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing a therapeutic activity, therapeutic exercise, and activities of daily living, specific to each patient's needs and goals. Adjusts selected therapeutic activity, therapeutic exercise, and activities of daily living based on the patient's response to the activity. • Evaluate the effects of treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating the patient's progress and recommending adjustments and modifications in consultation with other providers. • Prepares written documentation such as notes, reassessments, and discharge summaries. • Documentation includes monitoring the patient’s status and progress toward goal achievements. Re-evaluations are completed in a timely manner. Qualifications: • Must be board-certified and licensed in Occupational Therapy by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with and relate to patients. • Displays energy, positivity, and excellent team-working skills. Compensation: $60 - $65 hourly
