    PRN (As Needed)

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions for patients with various physical, emotional, and developmental challenges. This position requires a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our patients and staff.

    **Key Responsibilities: **

    - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
    - Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
    - Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ ability to perform daily living activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
    - Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
    - Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for daily living.
    - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
    - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
    - Stay updated with current occupational therapy practices and trends through continuing education and professional development.

    Qualifications:

    - Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    - Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
    - Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
    - Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including availability for various shifts as needed.
    - Knowledge of relevant therapeutic techniques, modalities, and assessment tools.
    - Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to lift, move, and assist patients as necessary.
    - Capability to engage in physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
    - Ability to handle a variable caseload and work in fast-paced environments as needed.
