    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist for a part-time position to provide high-quality occupational therapy services. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans that help clients improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve greater independence. In this part-time role, you’ll work with a diverse client population and collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to support optimal client outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assess clients’ functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges.

    Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients’ daily living skills, mobility, and independence.

    Educate and train clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities to support continued progress outside of sessions.

    Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to align on treatment goals and provide comprehensive care.

    Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.

    Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices.

    Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients by following all safety protocols and ethical standards.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

    Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist in California.

    Experience working with clients who have physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges is preferred.

    Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

    Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Familiarity with relevant software and documentation practices.

    CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to perform physical activities necessary for therapy sessions, including lifting and moving therapy equipment.

    Ability to sit, stand, and engage in active therapy exercises for extended periods.
