    We are seeking Certified Occupational Therapists and COTAs who are licensed in NYS to provide direct services to young children ages birth to three years old through NYC’s Early Intervention Program.

    Job Details

    Responsibilities Include:

    · Delivering services to children birth to 3-years old in a center-based setting

    · Develop creative programs and activities for children with developmental disabilities in order to improve social and cognitive functions

    · Encourage the child’s participation in in goal-orientated activities

    · Develop Treatment Plans to address child’s needs and help meet specific goals

    · Work closely with families to provide information and skills necessary to enhance the development of the child

    · Assessing the school/home environment if possible and recommending adaptations to improve independence and wellness

    · Work with families and other service providers to achieve a child’s IFSP or EIP goals

    · Participate in IEP meetings and other meetings as needed

    · Provide services in home, school-based and daycare centers

    · Daily data collection

    · Maintain regular progress reports and attend meetings related to the child

    Requirements:

    · Certified in New York State as a Occupational Therapist

    · Certified in New York State as a Occupational Therapist Assistant

    · Early Intervention Occupational Therapist experience: 3 years preferred

    · Experience writing session notes and reviewing IFSP’s preferred

    · Strong time management and organizational skills

    · Good technical skills and the ability to learn new databases

    Education:

    · Master’s Degree (Required)

    Preferred:

    · Bilingual a plus

    · Experience working in home-based programs, schools, or daycare centers
