    Competent Medical Solutions is currently seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) for contract and per diem positions in various locations throughout North Carolina. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality care in long-term care and rehab settings.
    Available Positions:

    • Long Term Care
    • Rehab

    Key Details:

    • Flexible Scheduling: Choose shifts that work best for you.
    • Scheduling: PRN or Contract
    • Pay Range: $45-$55/hr
    • Weekly Pay: Receive payment every week.

    Qualifications:

    • Active OT License: Must be currently licensed in North Carolina.
    • Education: Graduate of a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred.
    • Skills: Expertise in evaluating and developing treatment plans for various disabilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Fully Vaccinated: COVID card and booster required.
    • Recent Health Screening: Negative PPD within the last 12 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years.
    • Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable means of getting to work.
    • Clean Criminal Background: Background check required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate patients' abilities to perform daily activities and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and execute individualized plans to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
    • Provide Direct Patient Care: Use therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to support patients in achieving greater independence in daily living.
    • Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
    • Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery and maintain health.
    • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
