Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina OT License: Required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in long-term care or rehab preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Skills: Expertise in assessment and treatment plan development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (including booster).
- Recent Health Screening: Negative PPD within the last 12 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years.
- Reliable Transportation: Essential.
- Clean Background Check: Required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient independence and quality of life.
- Provide direct patient care using therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
