Summary of Position:
The Dog Park Manager is to be a resourceful, detail-oriented, high-performing self-starter. Under the supervision of the General Manager, Off Leash Dog Park Manager is responsible for effectively communicating, explaining, and enforcing park rules, regulations, and policies to staff and Off Leash customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Effectively communicating, explaining, and enforcing park rules, regulations, and policies to staff and customers.
Manage Dog Park employees using interpersonal skill and conflict management skills, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Assist customers and employees in watching the dogs interact and make sure that the interactions are consensual and safe for others.
Performs daily and weekly maintenance and inventories of the park, including counting/ordering retail, and maintaining relationships with local vendors.
Verify registration of participants and establishes and maintains effective working relationships with staff and supervisors.
Scheduling and managing the attendants and overall operations of the dog park.
Take photos and upload them to a designated file for use in our app as well as social media, marketing, and Off Leash’s official website.
Establish new events and promotions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous management experience required.
Experience managing 20 or more employees.
Three or more years of experience working with animals and the public such as, daycare, animal shelter, training facility, etc.
People and team orientated with experience in leading groups of people.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Energetic, caring, and passionate about animals.
Okay with getting messy (sometimes!) and can lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Certifications in dog behavior and handling.
Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily.
Operate basic computer software.
Alpharetta, GA: Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
