    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and professional individual to support our office. The ideal candidate for this position possesses excellent communications skills with a strong desire to learn. The candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent computer skills and a strong work ethic.

    Working as a Herzig Engineering Office Administrator, you must have outstanding people and organizational skills, and a desire to work in a small business environment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

    Responsibilities

    This job includes the following responsibilities:

    • Welcomes and directs visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
    • Handles inbound and outbound marketing emails
    • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges
    • Accurately inputs and manages data in Salesforce CRM
    • Aides Scheduling Coordinator with needs relating to scheduling and client interaction
    • Ensures digital and physical records are stored correctly and adequately
    • Monitors and manages office equipment and supplies and facilitates ordering and inventory management
    • Communicates with staff regarding vendors, shipments, mail, and other items.
    • Maintains a safe, clean, and inviting reception area
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

    Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma. BS/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
    • Ability to operate a standard personal computer as well as knowledge of and experience with standard office computer software

    Hybrid position: 1-2 days remote/week
