    Office Assistant skills include excellent organizational ability, familiarity with HR software, and strong communication skills. To be an ideal candidate for the Office Assistant position, you should also have some experience in administration and our industry. You should be able to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure. We are looking for an Office Assistant to undertake various HR administrative duties. An essential part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

    Pay Rate:

    $13-$15/ HR based on experience. The hours for this position is Monday and Wednesday 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 3 pm and Fridays-off. No weekends - Only on-call with the company phone.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with day-to-day operations of the clerical functions and duties

    Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives

    Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys ,etc) and take minutes

    Communicate with public services when necessary

    Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures

    Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

    Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

    Assist our recruiters in sourcing candidates and updating our database

    Provides support to Human Resource Assistant and Director as assigned

    Conducts Drug-Screening for new hires

    Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction

    Event Planning

    Assist with recruiting activities

    Assist with Talent Management and Performance Management activities

    Plan and attend networking and recruitment events, job fairs

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as an HR intern, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position

    The ideal candidate is pursuing a Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or Business degree.

    Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)

    Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS

    Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases

    Basic knowledge of labor laws

    Excellent organizational skills

    Strong communications skills

    High school Diploma or GED
