    Position Summary/Overview

    IQ Automation continues to expand and are offering up this new opportunity to the right individual. The Office Assistant will assist the Office Manager by handling, ordering, and inventorying materials needed for projects and service calls. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate records, organizing products in our warehouse, and assisting the Office Manager and Senior Technician with project and service materials coordination. The Office Assistant will also work with the Office Manager on tracking project costs. They will help with other office duties such as answering phones, scanning and filing documents, light cleaning, purchasing office supplies, planning company events, etc. As needed, the Office Assistant will also help our Sales Team with marketing duties, such as creating social media posts.

    Responsibilities

    .Work on a team to help coordinate materials for projects and service calls

    Maintain an inventory database

    Purchase products, track delivery dates, check them in upon arrival, track when materials go to job sites

    Purchase materials from appropriate vendors and within project budgets

    Stage items for projects and service calls, update paperwork and operational software records

    Communicate effectively with Office Manager, Senior Technician, and owners about status of items

    Track material and labor costs for projects

    Assist Sales Team members as needed, such as creating social media posts

    Clean and organize warehouse, office, and showroom areas

    Purchase office supplies as requested

    Help plan company events

    Skills

    Able to effectively work on a team

    Self-motivated and proactive

    Able to communicate well with internal and external resources in a professional manner

    Organized with attention to detail, including note-taking

    Experience using Excel, Word, or similar software

    Good time management with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities

    Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Valid Drivers License

    Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
