    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position will report directly to and will maintain consistent communication with the Office Manager for Maintenance and Construction and Co-CEO' for all job tasks. The office assistant for maintenance and construction supports the Office Manager and the entire Maintenance team in ensuring that all maintenance activities within an organization are carried out effectively and efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual with good hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.

    This position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company; therefore, the prospective employee must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess, and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, and maintain insurance coverage of at least the minimum amount required by California law.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Key Responsibilities:

    Property Maintenance

    Use AppFolio to keep track of all daily work.

    Ensure all work orders are properly updated with notes as well as before and after photos prior to closing.

    Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.

    Help the Maintenance team to set up the company’s equipment and collect weekly timecards.

    Report to Office manager for issues.

    Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

    Run errands, such as pick up & deliver orders from HD to sites.

    Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies & equipment.

    Requirements

    Proven experience as a Maintenance Assistant or similar role.

    Computer skills are required. Prior experience with QuickBooks and AppFolio is preferred.

    Strong organizational and communication abilities.

    Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    Must be able to quickly learn and utilize work order and timesheet computer software programs.

    Customer service positive attitude.

    Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.

    Full Time position located in Los Angeles, CA.

    Valid Driver’s License with insurance.

    Compensation

    The hourly rate is $20 - $25, paid biweekly.

    75% Employer-sponsored health insurance is available after a 90-day probationary period.

    1-week paid vacation accrual starting after 90-day probationary period.

    Use of company issued cell phone with internet connection.

    Use of company issued tablet or laptop with internet connection.

    All supplies are provided by management.
