Office Manager / Bookkeeper – Your Job Duties
- Oversee daily administrative and financial operations including office management, company owned facilities, and process management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements through Sage accounting software.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, Train staff and communicate to the owner for employee compliance and process effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, prime contractors and service providers.
- Human Resources Support: Assist the owner with recruitment, handle onboarding, change in relationships, and employee relations activities.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and work with the CPA for tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Office Manager / Bookkeeper - Required Skills, Experience & Culture Fit
You have:
- Proven experience in administrative support, coordination, and project-related tasks.
- Experience with accounting functions – invoice payments, collecting cash, accounting data entry
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. You will be supporting both the owners and other project managers. Managing up and keeping the team on track for project completion and milestone achievement is expected.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
- Experience with Sage accounting software (desired, not required)
Office Manager / Bookkeeper – Benefits & Pay for You
Your annual salary will be up to $90,000, depending on experience.
You will be provided with a monthly allowance for the cost of insurance, as well as a 401k plan with up to 4% company match, accrued vacation and sick time, and paid holidays.
You will work in office in Rio Linda, California.
