Job Position: Office Manager
Job Overview: The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our office. This includes coordinating building maintenance, overseeing office supply management and handling various administrative tasks. Additionally, the Office Manager will support HR functions, including leave tracking, payroll data entry, benefits administration and employee onboarding. The ideal candidate will be highly organized detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Office Management:
Coordinate building maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment.
Oversee groundskeeping and ensure the exterior of the office is well-maintained.
Manage office supplies, including ordering, stocking, and distributing supplies as needed.
Maintain office equipment and arrange for repairs or replacements when necessary.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Organize and maintain office files and records.
Ensure the office is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
Assist with the planning and execution of company events and meetings.
Human Resources Support:
Track employee leave, including vacation, sick days, and other absences.
Enter payroll data and assist with payroll processing.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Coordinate employee onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
Conduct background checks on prospective employees.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns and inquiries.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, HR Assistant, or similar role.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems is a plus.
Quickbooks software is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong sense of discretion and professionalism.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or Human Resources are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
