Previously featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, DetraPel manufactures non-toxic, PFAS-free barrier coatings for industrial and consumer applications in Textiles, Paper & Food Packaging, and Contract Aerosol Manufacturing The Office Manager role is a full-time in-person role supporting our Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Managerial Teams. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, managing inventory and supplies, coordinating with multiple departments, and ensuring a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities: Office Administration & Coordination • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a positive and professional environment • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails • Maintain an up-to-date filing system by scanning and organizing documents • Schedule inbound and outbound freight shipments, collaborating with the Operations Manager to uphold post-production shipping and receiving standards • Organize, coordinate, and keep team members regularly informed about various projects and their status. • Identify process improvements and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity Purchasing & Inventory Management • Generate purchase orders and ensure alignment of supplier deliveries with production schedules • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, including safety stock and replenishment • Organize incoming materials by sorting, labeling, reconciling part numbers, and processing item receipts • Lead routine inventory counts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and address discrepancies promptly • Catalog and update part numbers for new materials and products in the database • Keep master product-part files current with both supplier data and internal records Supplier & R&D Liaison • Communicate between R&D and suppliers, addressing pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs) • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of supplier-related updates Office Budget & Resource Management • Manage the office budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines • Monitor office supplies (stationery, furniture, appliances, electronics) and place orders to maintain adequate stock • Coordinate with Operations Manager or external vendors to uphold a clean, safe, and well-functioning office environment Qualifications: YOU’LL FIT RIGHT IN IF: • You Have an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred • You have 5+ years of experience • You participate in continuous learning and have a do-what-it-takes attitude • You are proficient in Google Workspace Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides), ERP software, and QuickBooks Online or can quickly learn to use new programs • You love working in a team and can demonstrate working well with others in a manufacturing environment • You are self-motivated and ambitious to build something, and adaptable to perform well when given the ability to set your own schedule and goals • You have previous customer service, bookkeeping, or administrative experience that peers would rave about • You have excellent written and verbal communication abilities • You have excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills • You have strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees • You have a strong attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
