    Office Manager/Human Resource Generalist Job Description

    Victorville Medical Office seeking Office Manager/Human Resource Generalist to join our team.

    We are a fast-paced and lively medical office in the heart of the high desert, providing care to a wide range of patients. We are seeking an office manager to provide administrative support ranging from employee management to vendor liaison. This position covers all aspects of administration and works directly with the Doctor and CFO to maintain the stability of the office.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Responsible for staff management.

    Coordinates providers& staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.

    Reinforces all company protocols and procedures with staff to ensure compliance.

    Ensures OSHA, radiation, and HIPAA privacy and compliance.

    Ensures all staff provide the highest level of patient care and service.

    Resolves patient concerns timely, efficiently and with respect.

    Ensures phone calls, messages and emails are answered timely.

    Ensures insurance claims are processed accurately and timely.

    Prepares financial estimates and necessary waivers for patients.

    Human resources, including maintenance of employee handbook, discipline tracking, payroll, onboarding, and recruiting.

    Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.

    Liaise between managers, patients, vendors, and employees.

    Point of contact for vendors, government agencies etc.

    Qualifications:

    Associate degree or higher in Business Admin or Human Resources or equivalent experience (medical preferred)

    3-5 years people management experience.

    1-3 years of experience in a medical office preferred

    Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations as they pertain to the company

    Working knowledge of Microsoft office software with advanced skills in Excel

    Well-organized and reliable.

    Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

    Experience working in a fast-paced and patient-centric environment.

    Ability to analyze and processes information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.

    Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

    Trustworthy; maintains personnel confidentially and discretion on sensitive matters

    Job Type: Full-time

    Compensation: $20-$25
