Office Manager - Cannabis Industry
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Office Manager with cannabis industry experience to oversee operations for our two facilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, create a professional and inspiring office environment, and take ownership of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the professional presence and leader in the office, fostering a respectful and collaborative environment for the team.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees based on company requirements and goals.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a smooth workflow between the two facilities.
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and attendance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain compliance with all state cannabis laws and regulations, ensuring the team adheres to them.
- Support upper management in implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage office supplies, inventory, and administrative needs.
- Collaborate with team leads to monitor team performance, provide feedback, and identify training opportunities.
- Ensure employee files, documentation, and records are up-to-date and securely stored.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a positive workplace culture by addressing concerns and fostering team development.
- Provide operational support to both facilities as needed, ensuring tasks and projects are completed effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management, HR, or a related field, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements in Nevada.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in managing administrative and HR tasks, including maintaining confidential employee records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members.
- Dependability, with a consistent presence in the office to support and guide the team.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to the needs of a small but dynamic workplace.
