Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the medical practice, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
Manage staff schedules, including medical, administrative, and support teams.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns with a focus on excellent customer service.
Implement and maintain medical office policies, procedures, and protocols.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
Oversee financial management, including Quickbooks budgeting, billing, and ADP payroll.
Coordinate with external vendors, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling to optimize productivity.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training for new staff members.
Prepare reports for leadership, track key performance indicators, and suggest improvements to enhance practice efficiency.
Manage inventory of medical supplies and office equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager
Strong knowledge of medical office operations and healthcare industry regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in medical office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, Athena (preferred)
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
A background in financial management, including experience with Quickbooks, medical billing & coding, ADP payroll, patient aging/ collections, daily deposits and office budgeting.
Associates or Bachelors degree in healthcare management, business administration or related field required.
